In some cases your credit history is more important, not that they are giving a charge card but it shows something about you character. With Endicott's history I suggest you wear nice shoes, well polished. If you are really going for a job in Edicott I have know idea where that is.

Being a police officer, with all of the demands on your knowledge (you are expected by the public to be a law expert, a mechanic, a plumber, a rescue worker and anything else they need) can be hard but it can be very fun. Police work, especially in a small town, is 90% boredom and 10% absolute terror.
